After ten years of genetically selecting Angus cattle to fit the industry’s needs, we feel that we have put together an offering of superior Angus genetics available for your selection that will work anywhere in the country.
What an exciting time to be in the Angus business or cattle business in general for that matter. With extremely high cattle prices across the board and record low cattle numbers, it’s just a matter of time before this deal really explodes. On the flip side, we are also dealing with extremely high input and grain prices. That is exactly why it is important as we gear up to take advantage of these record high prices with no end in sight that we as breeders watch the bottom line. At 7L we have spent the last ten years focusing on genetic selection to help with just that. It has been first priority to us that these cattle have value in the REAL WORLD, period – no ifs ands or buts about it. 7L has made the commitment to feed our own cattle along with some of our customers’ cattle and to record all carcass data for use in our breeding selections. Besides that, we have spared no expense when it comes to ultrasounding our bulls and heifers and we have been very progressive with our HD50K DNA testing. All of this has been done with the beef industry and, more importantly, with you our customer in mind.
The females in this offering are from the heart of our progressive program and have proven over the years that they will work from a commercial standpoint to the high end Angus seedstock producer, with all the tools to complement the maternal side of any structured composite/crossbreeding program.
